Flavour Begs For God’s Mercy in New Video ‘Kanayo’

Nigerian singer Chinedu Okoli, better known by his stage name Flavour N'abania or simply Flavour has released the video to his latest song dubbed ‘Kanayo’.

‘Kanayo’ translated to ‘let’s continue to seek or beg God for mercy’ is a piece of classic gospel music featuring PC Lapez that resonates very well with the current situation where the world is battling Coronavirus.

Shot and directed by Angrybird Productions, the New Video ‘Kanayo’ premiered a few hours ago and is already doing well, attracting about 5,000 views on YouTube within an hour.

The song marks the comeback of Flavour after a long musical break.

In the video, Flavour and PC Lapez highlight some of the challenges the world or rather the country, Nigeria is facing and seek for God’s mercy.

Some of the challenges highlighted in the video include sickness, in the current situation, the COVID-19 Pandemic, flooding and poverty.

The song ‘Kanayo’ is a mixture of Igbo language and a bit of English mostly done by PC Lapez.

It is worth pointing out that Flavour is well known for his ability to sing fluently in the Igbo language.

In one of the English lines, PC Lapez points out that; “Some people no get place to sleep, some people no got food to show…things are getting out of hand…all we need is your Grace…”

Flavour, a multi-instrumentalist and performer began his musical career as a drummer for a local church.

He is popularly known across Africa and the world for his hit song 'Nwa Baby’.
