Nigeria New EP Release by Oxlade, 'OXYGENE'

Nigerian music act Oxlade has released his 2020 debut project and EP dubbed ‘Oxygene’. Oxlade took to his Instagram page to share his excitement upon the release of the EP.


He said how words could not explain how much of importance the EP means to him and he wishes that all fans should enjoy as he congratulated everyone who took part in the realization of the project.
He said, "Words really cannot describe how I feel right now, putting this project out means the whole world to me, my entire essence, existence, and life right now centers around this project. I really want you guys to enjoy this project. Big shout out to every one part of this project. big love"


Oxlade added, "Music is the air that I breathe, which is why the EP is named ‘Oxygene’. There’s a play on words in there too, with the Oxy’ being my nickname and with the biological ‘gene’, I’m letting out a part of myself to the world which contains love, consciousness, and pain.”
Some of the greatest Nigerian producers who have collaborated in this project include Spax, Dera, Lussh, Echo and London-based Nosa Apollo. Oxygen has fused different genres and brought out the true colors of Afrobeat, Hip-Hop, R&B, and Country.

Oxlade was Born and raised in Mushin area of Lagos and got his Bachelors Degree in History & International Relations from Lagos State University.
Oxlade has defied all odds to put across that He is on a mission to be one of the icons and spread his sound footprints not only in Nigeria and the continent but across the world.
Oxlade's release of this new EP ‘Oxygene’ surely cements this notion as it has brought forth new music, creative visuals, and solid live performances and for sure it is a step closer to the realization of these aspirations.
