Legendary Kenyan genge musician Juacali has released a new song dubbed ‘Fiti Hivi’ featuring musician Beryl, and renowned spoken word poet Teardrops.
‘Fiti Hivi’ is a narration of the challenges most Kenyans go through on a daily basis in a bid to make ends meet.
In the song, the artistes highlight lacks of jobs, basic needs, among others as some of the things that affect Kenyans negatively.
However, Juacali notes that the solution is in prayer, that as a people, we should turn back to God so that we do not endure more challenges.
He underscores that nothing comes easy, and therefore we should be ready to sacrifice and work hard to ensure we have a good life.
Juacali also takes a swipe at the leadership of the country, accusing some leader of failing the electorate after they elected them to office.
Towards the end, Teardrops comes through with his Swahili verse, firing shots at the sytem for failing to cater for needs of Kenyans.
His verse is the perfect way to crown it all, as it paints the picture of how bad the things are in the country, and thus the need for an urgent solution.
One of the standout features in the song is Beryl’s spectacular voice that makes the chorus adorable, and worth listening to over and over again.
In a description message on YouTube, Juacali noted that “With the current Corona Pandemic Iam definite you will internalize this song more.....BE SAFE out there my people vitu zitakua FITI soon......”
