In the wake of the coronavirus pandemic in the world, many celebrities are using their social media accounts to do public by educating their followers. In Ghana, musician, Sister Derby, has taken to social media to emphasize the need to keep a hygienic lifestyle amid the coronavirus outbreak.
Myjoyonline.com reports that the ‘Kakalika’ hitmaker since the outbreak of coronavirus has been constantly engaging followers on the need to observe the recommended precautions such as social distancing, handwashing, and self-isolation.
“Pls #StayAtHome to help #StopTheSpread of #Corona. Call your friends and loved ones to check on them. #WashYourHands after each touch; I use Dettol soap and then shea butter to moisturize before I sleep. I’ve also been drinking a lot of hot tea (no sugar no milk) – 1,” she wrote on Twitter.
The 'African Mermaid' adds to the several celebrities in Ghana who are helping the government to educate the public on COVID-19.
