Dady Andre's Girlfriend Declines to Defend Him against Sexual Harassment Claims

Over the past week, Ugandan music producer Daddy Andre has been trending in the media for wrong reasons, with two upcoming artistes accusing him of sexual harassment.
The two; Nadia Rania, and J. Pafra noted that the producer held their songs longer than expected, then later made sexual advances towards them.

Amidst all the accusations, one would expect Daddy Andre’s girlfriend Angella Katatumba to defend his partner, but she did the exact opposite, and refused to be drawn into the debate.
In a phone interview with a local station, Angella refused to be give any comment on the same, instead asking the interviewing to ask her about the corona virus.
"I have absolutely no comment regarding that. Ask me about Corona..." Angella responded while laughing.
The two (Dady Andre and Angella), made their relationship public in December 2019, and have even done a song together.
Meanwhile, the Ugandan Music Association (UMA), has vowed to investigate the issue and take necessary action.
Speaking in an interview with NBS TV earlier this week, the association's president Sophie Gombya vowed not to let the matter go.
"We are going to investigate. Gone are the days when they used to say musicians are prostitutes and con artists. We are going to handle this situation without negotiation. I have not yet spoke to Daddy Andre but he has to go before the tribunal. And everyone out there, you should learn how to respect women.
"We are not going to let it go but support her. We will listen to what Andre says and the tribunal will decide the outcome." Sophie Gombya said.
On his part, Daddy Andre has rubbished the claims, threatening to sue Nadia; who was first to complain.
