Ethic group’s Rekless; who is among the top rappers in Kenya, has dropped a new freestyle video dubbed ‘Lawama’.

‘Lawama’ is a Swahili word that loosely translates to Blame in English. In the song, Rekless highlights how he blames other things after making some mistakes in life.

The new release has amazing lyrics with perfect rhymes, and is one of those hits that you’ll keep listening to over and over again.

The beats are slow and blend perfectly well with Rekless’ verses; you get to hear what he says, while enjoying the beat.

Unlike his role in Ethic where he mostly does the chorus, in the new release, you get to listen to him for an entire 2 minutes.

Listening to the new release, you get to appreciate the fact that Rekless is indeed one of the best rappers and lyricist that this country has seen.

‘Lawama’ is his second single is a span of three weeks. Earlier this month he dropped ‘Geezer’ which dominated the airwaves for quite some time.

Listening to both songs, you get the feeling that Rekless should consider pursuing a solo career, or invest more of his time on solo projects, in addition to his role at Ethic.
