Top 3 Perfect Debut Albums by Nigerian Artists and where They are Now!!

Albums and initial musical projects by Nigerian Artists have for some got some to prestigious levels of prowess and we take time to celebrate these three.

1. Wande Coal

Official names being Oluwatobi Wande Ojosipe, Wande coal started off his career in music as a signee under Don Jazzy’s record label, 'Mushin To Mo'Hits', before it unveiled its new brand name, Mavin Records. In March 2009, the singer released his first studio album ‘Mushin To MoHits’ under which featured D’banj, D'Prince, Ikechukwu, K-Switch, Dr. Sid and was chiefly produced by Don Jazzy.
Wizkid took to his Instagram page to attest to its good content by saying, "THIS ALBUM (MUSHIN2MOHITS) CHANGED MY LIFE! KING COAL @WANDECOAL"

2. MI Abaga

After 13 years in Chocolate City, MI Abaga announced on his social media of the creation of his own label, Incredible Music. He said, “Goodbye is the hardest thing to do, its been an incredible journey and change one thing is constant…,”. In his 2008 debut album, he featured among the biggest artists in Nigeria among them Ice Prince, Leony, Blaize, YQ, Wizkid, Eben these being just but a few. The 16 track album was full of great Hits highlights being 'Safe' and 'Anoti', and it proved of the amazing talent and discography skills by MI Abaga.

3. Wizkid

Wizkid official names Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun was born in born 16 July 1990. Wizkid came to the limelight after releasing his single 'Holla at Your Boy' and later his 17 track debut studio album, 'Superstar' which premiered in 2011. His recent collaboration with the Globally celebrated award-winning Beauty queen, Beyonce for the track ”Brown Skin Girl” enabled him to bag the award at the 51st NAACP Image Awards; becoming the first Nigerian to win such a prestigious award.
