"Music is music" shares Kevoh Yout about his latest non gospel single

The Kenyan music scene may somehow be termed as controversial especially when it comes to the gospel music scene, however no matter how we look at, it music is music and thats why dancehall gospel artist Kevoh Yout is trying his hand at diversity with his latest release 'Murdah'; and yes i am stating that it is not a gospel single.

" As an artist honestly I feel that I am an entertainer and I do not want to be limited or branded under a specific genre which is why i did this new track its not gospel yes but its music. I am still saved dnt get me wrong but my relationship with God is more personal" he shared during an interview with Mdundo.

"The song itself is basically me expressing my feelings towards a lady and it was inspired by an experience that i had; Iknow people may say its surprising that im switching to non gospel music but i feel that the industry needs to grow more and expand into broader arears so that is what i am doing and fans should support us by encouraging artists not being judgemental" he went on to add
