A new music reality show is set to take over your living room with the first episode having being aired last weekend.
Coke Studio will run a total of eight episodes each airing for a maximum of 45 minutes featuring artist from different parts of Africa.
The artists will collaborate on newly produced tracks to create a modern African sound.
Lead artists making an appearance this weekend include MI, Miss Karun, Just A Band, Octopizzo, Salif Keita, Boddhi Satva and Diamond Platinumz.
A total of 24 artists will feature in season 1. Leading artists will choose the tracks they want to work on and collaborating artists.
Kenyan collaborating artists include Dela, Sage, Harry Kimani and Bamboo.
The show is airing on a local tv station and will also be available on Coke’s YouTube channel.
