Wendy Shay Again! Twitter Users Attack Singer Over Age

From the first day her music video for her first song (Uber Driver) dropped, Wendy Shay has never literally left social media. At least, the afropop singer is usually in Twitter trends almost every fortnight.

Just some few days ago, Mdundo Music’s Eugene Brown Agyei reported that Wendy Shay was trending for singing the wrong lyrics of a popular gospel song titled 'Ancient of Days' which has the original lyrics as “Ancient of days as old as you are”. However, in trying to perform a different version, Wendy Shay sang it rather as “Ancient of days how old as you are”.

Fast forward to yesterday, Twitter users showed they were not done with her as they pulled her pictures without makeup from google and demanded that she explains her age to them. With her original name as Wendy Addo, Wendy shay has her date of birth as February 23, 1996 on Google and Wikipedia.
However, Twitter users think that must be the afropop singer’s ‘football age’. See some of the tweets below:
