The Pit at Pawa 254
The Pit, a hip-hop exhibition that celebrates and showcases all things hip-hop, goes down at Pawa 254, off State House Crescent, tomorrow. DJs Khenti, Swarm and Midl-east will be on the decks, guest artiste Trabolee and Bhupi ‘Wise Two’ and Swift 09 showcasing live graffiti. Entry is free.
Concert at Alliance Française, Mombasa
Indulge in this one of a kind musical concert dubbed Watoto wa Abraham that celebrates the heritage of yesteryears through smooth jazz tunes. Juma Tutu Swahili Jazz Band and Nafsi Huru, among others, are the main acts. The concert goes down at Alliance Française in Mombasa tomorrow night. Advance charges are Sh400 and Sh500 at the gate.
Fena's debut album launch and Taio's dubut performance
This Saturday, Rainmaker and motion image and sound limited presents Live at the Elephant. Get to celebrate their 1 year anniversary and also get to enjoy a dose of Fena Gitu and Taio's album release and performance respectively. Adfvance tickets which is a copy of Fena's album, go for 1200 bob and the ticket at the gate is 1500.
Fatuma's voice/ Kenyan Poets Lounge
Join Fatuma and other poets and several music acts at the Kenyan Poets Lounge as they dive deep in the world of poetry. It will be held at Pawa 254 FROM 4PM to 7pm . The charges are a mere 100Kes.
