Former TPF finalist and Neo-Soul artist, Wendy Kimani tells the world why she has been missing in the music scene for a while now. We caught up with her during an Interview with the Radio Talk show host, Mzazi Willy Tuva.

“I had to go back to school and complete my degree in Computer Science. I now have my first degree in the field. After that, I went on a music journey where I had to learn and perfect my music ropes. This is a thing most artist do. We take some time away from everything and try better our skills” she said.

She recently dropped her new single, “HaiwiHaiwi”, featuring Sauti Sol’s Bien Aime and by just listening to the intro of the song you can tell someone has clearly been polishing her vocals just for the fans. She also got to expound on whether the TPF romance that was in the air between her and Tanzania’s Hemedi ever saw the light of day after TPF. “ There wasn’t any actual love brewing am just a nice person generally.Besides the cameras only got to show you the good parts. I don't think I can handle Hemedi with his long line of ladies” she explained.

"Fans should expect music for the soul. My upcoming album will be different in the sense that, yes it is neo soul, but in Swahili. There will also be some afro fusion” She said in an excited tone.
