No luck for Kenyan artists at the 2014 BET awards!!

The full list of BET nominees were announced yesterday and as much as we would have hoped that a Kenyan artist would get a nomination and fly our flag high, none managed to get one as was the case back in 2012 when Camp Mulla became the first artists to represent Kenya in the awards.

Tanzania's golden boy Diamond however managed to scoop a nomination under the Best International Act Africa category representing the East African region and battling it out with fellow artists from the continent such as Davido( Nigeria), Mafikizolo( South Africa), Sarkodie (Ghana), Tiwa savage (Nigeria) and Toofan (Togo)

The award ceremony is set to take place on the 29th of June with Chris Rock being the host.
