It was Rabbit's big night at the first ever Mdundo awards scooping most of the awards of the night,scoring a total of three awards.

In his acceptance speech, he urged artists to unite and make the industry grow rather than fight one another

" The main challenge the industry faces is that we do not love each other.Instead of supporting each other and helping one another grow, we look at each other as competition. I just want to urge all artists to cut the pretence and be real with one another and love one another"
