Octopizzo is the only Kenyan rapper who was selected by Coca Cola to feature in the official African version theme song “The world is ours” for the upcoming FIFA world cup in Brazil.
Yesterday, the high flying and influential rapper was invited for an interview with Supersport during their popular football show “Mchaka Mchaka” in which he urged football fans all over the world to shun racism in soccer.
“And we showed our support #NoToRacism with Kriss Darlin II n Octopizzo Da'Illest. Football is fun, colour doesnt matter! #SSKPL,” Supersports show host Japheth Akhulia shared on his Faceook page after the show.
With just a few weeks to the 2014 FIFA World cup in Brazil, racism has become a contentious issue in the game with some fans subjecting opposition players to racism chants and even throwing bananas at them.
