Didn’t get off to a good start, says Kevoh while talking about Papaah

Kevoh Yout is a fast rising gospel artist in Kenya widely referred to as the 'King of Gospel dancehall'. He released his debut album 'Determination' in 2010 featuring artist such as Mr. T, Michelle (former member of Chit Chat), Kristine Ndela, Mc Dice and Shem of the Wernono Crew. The album had a couple of hits including Souljah, No More and Determination.

The artist recently released a new track, Papaah, from his yet to be released album 'Dancehall Clean Up'. The tune has been at #1 for two consecutive weeks on the Mdundo TOP10 gospel downloads.

Speaking to Mdundo, Kevoh said “This year didn't start off well for me, so in this song I just talked about my feelings and being real. It’s actually very different from what I’m used to do and that’s why I connect well with the song.”

Kevoh plans to officially release Dancehall Clean Up in December this year.
