Uganda’s ragga/ reggae star Bobi Wine has heaped praise on Kenyan artists describing them as “Super talented”
In an interview with Radio Citizen’s Willy M Tuva, Bobi Wine said that he is looking forward to doing a number of collabo’s with high flying Kenyan artists such as Nameless and Jaguar.
“Kenyan artists are super talented, I have worked with the likes of Redsan and Wahu but I would really love to do a song with Nameless, who is among the top East African artists, Jaguar is also another person that I would really love to work with,” he said
However, Bobi Wine also revealed that in order for him to do a collabo with any artist he has to first strike a friendship before they can work together.
“I don’t do collabo’s to take my music career to the next, we have to be friends first before I can consider doing a collabo with an artist, I did not get into music for the fame or the money,” he added with finality
When asked why he prefers singing in his native language, Luganda, the star said that the top target for his music is Uganda and that he wants to help develop the language.
