Gospel whiz kid Bahati shows Ken Wa Maria it's not about Oscars but 'the word'

Gospel whiz kid Bahati is man of the week after his latest single Barua managed to leap all the way from nowhere to the tip of the TOP25 weekly chart. For this reason Ken Wa Maria’s Lupita Nyong’o, which was the most searched-for song on Mdundo last week, has dropped to position 2.

Newcomers include Bahati and Ulopa Ngoma with Barua and Kupick respectively.

Gainers: Beautiful and talented Chess is back to the chart at #24 with I’m in Love after missing a place in the chart for two weeks. Saree by the late E-Sir has also made a comeback at #25.

Losers: Dumbala Remix continues to drop; from top five to top ten, now it’s not even close to top 15. And finally leaving the chart is Fundamentals by Ken Wa Maria.
