Here is a list of artists who scooped 2014 MTV Africa Music Awards nominations!

With the 2014 MTV African Music Awards(MAMA) back, the nominees up for awards have been announced by MTV.

The awards will be going down at KwaZulu-Natal,South Africa on 7th July this year, supported by Absolut & The City of Durban.If you didn't vote for your favourite artist don't expect them to magically appear on the list. No Houdini acts here.

South Africa's Mafikizolo and Uhuru tied with Nigerian act Davido for the first place each scoring 4 nominations while also deadlocked for the Song of the Year, Artist of the Year and Best Collaboration.

Some of the East African nominees include, Amani, Radio and Weasel – ‘Kiboko Changu’ (Kenya/Uganda) and Diamond feat Davido – ‘Number One’ (Remix) (Tanzania/Nigeria) for the Best Collaboration.

Sauti Sol (Kenya) for the Best Group. Diamond (Tanzania) for the Best Male. Anisa Mpungwe(Tanzania) and Lupita Nyong'o(Kenya) got a none music category for the Transform Today by Absolute and Personality Of The Year respectively.
