Diamond shockingly reveals that he has a child

In a recent interview with a top Nigerian radio station, Naseeb Abdul popularly known as Diamond Platinumz opened up about his music, fatherhood and fame.

When asked about his collaboration with Nigeria’s Davido in the hit single “Number One”, the Tanzanian star made it clear that it was only for business purposes and that he used the Nigerian artist as bait to penetrate into the West African market.

“Yes, mostly I met him shortly after he released Aye, Aye is currently very popular in Tanzania, they love the song! I realized that if I want to get across Africa especially in the West African market, the best person to work with would be Davido. His music is well played across the continent and he’s a superstar. I am happy that Davido and I had this collaboration; our unique sound has made the song very popular across Africa. The song has even pushed Davido higher in Tanzania; I am very happy about that too. Now when I come to West Africa, people accept me, it’s a beautiful thing,” Diamond said

The star who recently became a father also opened up about his experience of fatherhood terming it as humbling,

“Fatherhood is a great experience, very humbling. You learn a lot about your children and the kids the kind of things they love. For example, my baby loves this cartoon that has a catchy song, I think Ben10. Haha,” he added
