Bebe Cool starts a battle by terming Navio as a 'small artist'

Accredited rapper Navio has added his voice to the continuing debate as to whether East African radio stations, DJ’s and TV stations should stop playing West African music.
During last week’s Tubonge Live concert organized by Jose Chameleon, Navio was invited to the stage to air his opinion on the debate and he shared the following,
“I see a new war online. People fighting for rights on radio and TV compared to the West African music played. DJ’s make sure you appreciate the good music you get and artists make sure you keep giving them that good music.” He said
Bebe Cool however seems not to be settling well with the Nigerian music scene in the local and regional market and he took a blow at Navio during a radio interview, terming him as a "small artist"starting a battle pit for hip hop and ragga fans in the country.
Navio who is regarded as one of the top Hip hop artists in the region and continent was angered by the comments and came out to term who is the greatest artists in Uganda and the whole region,
“Don’t talk about who is big in EA right now. Open your eyes. You can’t talk about Bobi Wine, Chameleon and lastly Bebe Cool without talking about Navio in UG music. Never put me in the category of small artists.”
“The No Holding Back” hit maker also proclaimed his status as one of the biggest EA musicians in a move that is set to generate even more heat.
