NEW MUSIC (KENYA): Kenyan Duo Opips & Jardel Release “Obvious” Ft. PRO

Opips & Jardel of Team Mistari are fast rising in the Kenyan entertainment scene. The duo who recently got nominated at Pulse Music Awards (Kenya’s hottest new award ceremony) has released a new banger titled OBVIOUS featuring Kenyan rapper Pro. OBVIOUS is the third single off their upcoming debut album and was produced by KidKay of Red Republik and mastered by acclaimed producer Magic Mike.

The sexy laid-back single and video is a great club tune set to rock dancehall and hip-hop music lovers alike. Set in Nairobi’s famed CBD Club - Tribeka Lounge, ‘OBVIOUS’ music video was directed by Odibz who perfectly captures the duo’s energy.

Speaking about this new release, Opips said, “Our fans have been eargely waiting for our next single since TAKE IT LOW and finally we have something classy for them – I am sure they will definitely enjoy this!” The same was echoed by his longtime collaborator Jardel who says, “This song is a dedication to all the women out there. We just wanted to appreciate you and all your strength.” The duo has previously collaborated on a number of smash hit singles: “Chini Kwa Chini”, “Another Woman” and also teamed up with Calvo Mistari on “Take It Low” and “Paper & Glue”.
