TANZANIA: Diamond Platnumz Songs Banned From Radio & TV

Tanzanian pop star, Diamond Platnumz has suffered a major blow in his music career after the Tanzanian government banned his two songs from playing in Radio and TV stations.

Tanzania Communications Regulatory Authority (TCRA) announced the banned of 13 songs on Wednesday last week. Among them were Diamond's two songs; Hallelujah feat Morgan Heritage and Waka Waka featuring Rick Ross. This is after receiving a list of the songs from National Arts Council of Tanzania (BASATA).

"The said records have lyrics which violate ethics of regulation broadcasting services (content) 2005," TCRA said in a statement to media.
