Challenges that upcoming artists face

1. Poverty
Actually, most upcoming artists have talents but they consider themselves poor. Yes it is true that in music industry, funds are required for one to go to studio, and not just a studio but a studio that will offer him or her a quality work. Such studios requires a good amount of cash which is like a burden to most upcoming artists. Upcoming artists find it difficult to compete with the known artists since they lack funds to 'push' their songs for airplay.
2. Lack of exposure
This is very true, most talents are hidden. For example, there are many artists in the village. Yes they sing but they don't know what or how it is done for their music to be known. What they do is to listen to the known artists and admire them but no idea of how to be like them.
3. Lack of support
Yes, there is this say that goes 'no man is an island '. Even for those big artists, they got someone's support for them to reach where they are. This help can be physical, mental or spiritual. The support can be in terms of cash sponsorship as far as music is concerned. In terms of song promotion or getting the platform for the artist. Upcoming artists find it difficult to manage all these and hence die upcoming.
4. Lack of platforms
These are platforms where artists get to perform their songs to the fans. I can say that it is very difficult for an unknown artist to get performance platforms. Unless they are at least given a chance to curtainraise for other artists in which the chances are rare.
5. Fake promoters
This has really affected the upcoming artists since most are cheated by false promoters who intern con them causing them to even loose moral. Yes the artist admire to reach to the top and this is the promise they get from these con men and women.
