The album contains 8 previously unreleased Michael Jackson’s tracks and will also have a deluxe version including the recordings in their original form with online preorders scheduled to start on April 1st (today)

Epic records which is where the King of Pop recorded his music before his unexpected death also revealed that a host of talented producers including Timbaland, Rodney Jerkins, Stargate, Jerome “Jroc” Harmon and John McClain have worked on the tracks to give them a “fresh, contemporary” sound.

"Michael left behind some musical performances that we take great pride in presenting through the vision of music producers that he either worked directly with or expressed strong desire to work with," CEO of Epic Records Reid said in a statement

"We are extremely proud and honored to present this music to the world." he further went on to add.

Like his previous Albums, Xscape is named after one of the pop stars tracks in the album and it’s the only song that was written and produced by the late MJ himself with the help of Jerkins.

Jackson’s label, Sony has promised an “unprecedented global campaign” for the Album which is expected to be a big hit among fans of the late King of Pop music.
