NIGERIA: Why Wizkid Missed Banky W's Wedding

After many fans reacted negatively to Wizkid after he failed to attend the wedding of his former boss and also his music Godfather, Banky W, Wizkid has come out to explain what made him miss the event.

Through his Instagram, WizKid has said that he couldn't travel to attend the ceremony as he was still waiting for his passport.

He posted a picture of Banky W and his wife and wrote;

"God bless my big bro @bankywellington and our new wife @adesuaetomi. God will bless you with happiness and abundance of Joy as u start your new life together! Missing this day is something that will forever make me sad. But this is not about me, it's about you! Enjoy! Happiness and love forever! #stillwaitingonmypassport".

Banky W and Adesua got married last weekend in Cape Town, South Africa.
