Top East African artists set to converge tommorow for a major concert

Top Ugandan artist and ambassador Dr Jose Chameleon is set to host East Africa’s largest concert this year at the Lugogo Tennis Club, Kampala tomorrow.
Earlier on this month during an interview with Radio Citizen’s Mzazi Willy M Tuva, the “Valu Valu” hit maker said that the mega concert dubbed the 'Tubonge Live concert' will act as a way of bringing together all the artists from the region in order to help in developing and growing the East African music industry.
In the recent past, artists from the region have tried their level best to encourage music fans in the region to promote their local content in a bid to reclaim the scene which is now dominated by Nigerian songs.
Yesterday top Tanzanian artist Mwana FA made known his displeasure of Nigerian music stating that there are many talented artists in the region that can do better music than their Naija brothers.
Some of the artists expected to headline the event include AY, Navio, TID, Jaguar, Radio and Weasle, Wyre, Amani and many more since the official guest list has not yet been released.
