Saved rapper stabs Mdundo chart with Testimony

Not much is known about new generation gospel rapper Kenn Eddy Krezi, yes Krezi he is. The guy is shaking up Mdundo charts for top space with his new single ‘Testimony’. We wish him all the best.
The song made it to #18 on our TOP25 download list, after only a few days on the platform which is pretty hard for an artist with a small fan base like Kenn.
Right from Eastleigh High, the school that has also produced the likes of Point Blank Evumbi and Rabbit, Krezi says he wrote the song after realising that anyone can make it to stardom.
“The song’s inspiration was after I realized that no matter what your background looks like or whatever challenges you may go through you can still make it through God's plan.”
He adds, “As teenager I was lost into worldly pleasures. I was a drunkard and used to steal but after I got saved I promised to tell my story and music was the best platform.”
Asked about what he would be doing if not rap, the artists responded by saying he got love for music since childhood and would be doing nothing else apart from music.
Kenn's previous release was 'Young Kenyan And Saved' and his style is a worship genre but in a hip hop version.
