Former Ogopa signed artist Kenzo Matata seems to have hit the road running after his contract with Ogopa came to an abrupt end.
The talented artist who is currently riding high with his latest single “Kidogo Tu” has revealed that he is working on a new collaboration with Nigerian artist Chinasa.
“Going solo has allowed me to work much more independently, currently I am working with a Nigerian artist called Chinasa who is signed to Spinlet and I hope that we will be through with the single very soon,” he said during an interview with Kiss 100 Adelle Onyango.
The "Mama Milka" artist who has already hired a manager also revealed that he is currently assembling a team of professionals that will help him to expand his brand to the wider African market.
“As an artist I take time before I decide what to do next, I took time out to think about it and I found it better to part ways with Ogopa DJ’s. However as I have said on numerous occasions there is no bad blood between me and Ogopa DJ’s,” he added
Last month, in another interview with a local Radio station, the star also revealed that he hand landed himself a deal with a Dubai based record label.
