Top gospel act Rose Muhando has come out to defend her recent contract with Sony Music along with the accusations people have thrown towards her stating that she has commercialized her music for financial gains rather than spreading the word of God.
During a phone interview with Mzazi Willy M Tuva of Citizen Radio, the talented vocalist and artist clarified that her contract with Sony Music is in no way for the benefits,
“Many people have accused me so much since I started out in my music career, some people were even telling me to do music for free because I was doing gospel music how now? I really don’t care what they say because even God says that he will take me from one glory to another,” she shared
“If God tells me to do something I will do it whether people like it or not, I live my life according to the word of God and he is the one who guides my steps,” she further went on to add.
The renowned gospel artist made history by becoming the first gospel singer in the region to be signed under Sony Music Entertainment based in South Africa and has so far released her 5th studio album 'Yesu Kunguta' with them.
