UGANDA: Bobi Wine To Work With The Police To Promote Security

Ugandan police has urged the new Member of Parliament for Kyadondo East, Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu, popularly known as Bobi Wine to work with them in order to enhance security in the area.

Bobi who won the parliamentary seat last Thursday has been likened by youths and that's the reason he has been requested by the police to co-operate to secure the area.

At a police function on Monday, police spokesman Asan Kasingye, has told the MP who is also an artist to help the police to stop crime because most of the youths listen to him and they are his fans.

"We urge the new MP to work closely with the police within Kyadondo East in order to promote securuty in the area especially through community policing programmes", he said.
