KENYA: Alliwah Makes A Major ComeBack To The Gospel Scene.
7 April 2017
Alliwah is undoubtedly not a new player in the game. The born again gospel musician has been on the scene for the last 16 years having launched his first studio album in 2002 (HALLE HALLE) that featured Cal and the celebrated news anchor Teryanne Chebet and another one later in 2010(TUKUZA MILELE).
Through the 16 Years,Alliwah has also doubled as an Actor and CEO of the Theatrix Arts Ensemble, a talent hub that has mentored the likes of Jalang’o, Sleepy David, Jackie Vike among many others.
Soft Spoken and articulate when it comes to Gospel matters, Alliwah has also been a number one crusader of the True Gospel of Christ which has hugely contributed to the content of songs in his 3rd Album which also happens to be his comeback project.
"I am a huge believer and i believe in True Gospel. Some artists are watering down the Gospel in the name entertaining which i feel should not be the case.If you listen to my new single Sikuangukia,You will agree with me the content is pure"
Sikuangukia is Alliwah’s first solo project after parting ways with His brother and partner Cal de’Brand. He affirms that the parting was in good faith and there was understanding on the same. The Song title is a street slang in swahili meaning NOT BY LUCK inspired from the book of Psalm 124:1 – 8.
The single on the first day of realease did super good with the video garnering over 10,000 views on Youtube. The following day it was among the Trending Videos on Youtube and On Twitter. As if that was not enough, It was also voted the Hottest New Gospel Track on NTV’s CrossOver 101.
Am Greatful to God and my fans who have been supporting me immensly by praying for me and appreciating my music. More music is coming up and this is more than a comeback, Its a movement for the true and pure Gospel.
