UGANDA: Chameleone Calls Off Concert, Sets New Dates

Doctor Jose Chameleone missed out on holding a concert last year after the famous Tubonga Nawe Boycott. This was after music lovers accused him and a number of other music that participated in a popular song to win votes for the incumbent president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.

So this year, Chameleone decided to stage the ‘Hit after Hit’ concert but this is the third time he is shifting dates and now he has settled for 30th June 2017.

It's believed that the earlier date of May 19th was called off after it collided with 2017 ICC World Cricket League (Division 3) that will be held at the same venue.

Below is a letter addressed to the event promoter Balam by the Muramagi Nicholas the General Secretary National council of sports:
