KENYA: From Amsterdam to Nairobi with Gilad & Wendy

Two of Kenya's best vocalists and music sensations, Gilad and Wendy are at it again with their second collaborative effort just as their first single together, Unajua, hit the 1 million views mark on YouTube.  Known both locally and abroad for the chat-topping single, the two artists have maintained a close working relationship after the mainstream success of Unajua which is still commanding admiration and heavy rotation on both radio and TV stations across East Africa.

Recently, Gilad teamed up with Wendy again to compose Usiende, a soulful reggae ballad soothing ones' partner to stay and try work out their differences in the relationship. The song was written by both artists and recorded at MG studios  when Wendy came to Kenya for her vacation. Mainly done in English, Usiende continues to show the seamless chemistry that the two artists wowed listeners with on their debut collaboration, Unajua.

The video which is expected in a months' time was shot in Amsterdam when Gilad visited the couple who moved to Netherlands after their wedding. As such, Usiende is now tasked with the expectation of rightfully representing 3 countries; Kenya, Israel and Netherlands and by extension Belgium and Parkistan where the directors hail from.
