Part-Time Job: Mdundo Music Acquisition Consultant

Start: Immediately.

Type: Part-Time Consultant, no office hours or location.

Location: Mozambique, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Zambia, Cote d’ivore, Ghana.

Monthly Compensation: Trial month, $100 base + $100 on target bonus thereafter $200 base + $100 on target bonus.

 

- Mdundo is one of Africa’s leading music platforms. We have more than 1 million users every month and we work with 20,000 musicians from 37 different African countries.

- Musicians can easily join Mdundo by signing up online. The musicians have full control of their music and brand identity. Musicians can join and leave Mdundo is they wish with no legal challenges (just like Soundcloud, youtube or myspace). Musicians are paid 50% of the revenue generated on their music from Mdundo - payout twice a year.

- We are looking for Music Acquisition Consultants with insights and experience in the music industry who can help us spread the word and onboard musicians in their country.

 

- Understand the Mdundo service and how we add value to musicians as well as the music industry.

- Introduce and onboard 10 of the top 100 musicians in your country every month (minimum 5 songs per musician).

- Report and communicate directly with the Head of Music in Kenya.

- Give daily updates on the progress.

 

- 1 month trial with 1 day termination, thereafter 3-months contract with 7-days termination.

- All expenses and taxes are paid by the consultant.

- List of musicians is provided by management.

- Payment through bank transfer or western union after 30 days.
