KENYA: Ukoo Flani Legend G Rongi Stuck in France, Claims Kenyan Embassy Refuses to Renew His Passport

G Rongi is one of the most renowned names in Kenyan Hiphop, a legend if you will.

He started out in Dandora based Hiphop crew Ukoo Flani and was one of the few members that remained in the craft even after the group disbanded.

In a video posted directly on his Facebook account the rapper is seen lamenting over how the Kenyan embassy in Paris, France is mistreating him and even refusing to return his passport since January.

Now the rapper says he is stuck in France and cannot even make a livelihood as he continues to miss out on his planned tours in other countries.

“I love Kenya but the Kenyan embassy in Paris is refusing to give me back my Kenyan passport passport since January sai tuko mwezi wa tano, sasa sijui Mimi ni mkenya ama,since january i cant travel outside france I can't travel I can't go anywhere ,‪#‎kilio_cha_haki,” he wrote on a social media post.
