KENYA: Upcoming Kenyan Talents Stand the Chance to Be Mentored by American Star Keri Hilson
25 January 2016

Last year’s Airtel Trace Music Star competition was quite memorable. For the first time ever you could make your dreams come true by simply recording your song on a phone call and wait to be hand-picked for the music competition.
To top that off the winner got a chance to be mentored by one of Africa’s biggest exports, Akon, who also owns a very successful American record label.
This year the competition is set to go on even newer heights as revealed by this year’s pick for the Airtel Trace Music Star mentor, the lovely Keri Hilson.
Keri confirmed that she would mentor the proud winner of the competition in a video message shown at the press conference to launch the second season of the show.
"I would like to announce and confirm that I will definitely be attending the grand finale in Lagos. I can't wait to crown the winner who will join me in the states, be mentored and record a song together. This year, Airtel Trace Music Star will be bigger and better."
Keri is known for some of America’s biggest pop jams like ‘Energy’, ‘Knock You Down’ among many others.
She therefore makes a great candidate to mentor some of the young talent coming off the competition who will no doubt be hungry for the fame.
