You cannot deny talent when you see it, and so it was perherps no surprise when the inimitable Bahati walked away with one of the top awards of the night for Top Male Artist in the coveted Groove Awards ceremony.

The artist who is still wallowing in a miasma of excitment, joy and humility could not fail to express his thrill about the win to Mdundo, terming it as a 'challenge',

"I am very humbled and at the same time i feel very appreciated that my music is being recieved well both in Kenya and East Africa; my win gives me a challenge to get more serious in my music and i can assure fans i will not let them down"

Bahati who celebrated 18 months since his debut in the music scene on the big night of his win has clearly been on the limelight ever since he got into the music scene and from the look of things that light is about to shine brighter and brighter,

" I am currently working on my album which will be launched on August 17th however the details to that will be revealed in due time but as of now there is a national track which i am working on and it will be out soon; i still want to push my new track Barua"
