UGANDA: Uganda Entertainment Awards

Like the saying goes "better late than never"

Nothing could stop us from writing about this beautiful event not even time.

Kampala Serena Hotel was lit on 19^th August evening as the Uganda Entertainment Awards held their second edition lots of awards were given out, most notable being Eddy Kenzo who was the man of the night.

The story began in May with the nomination process and on June 20th the nominees list was issued and voting began thereafter and finally August 19th saw the winners receive their accolades.

“Life is not perfect but your outfit can be.”  The red carpet was filled with lots of beautiful gowns and well-dressed gentlemen from models and singers to designers and comedians and african style icon Bonang Matheba was in the house.

Every one who showed up to the event was dressed to kill thanks to the various stylists and designers who made this happen.

Here are a few sneak pictures of some of the people who stood out at the event. 

Eddy Kenzo dominated the awards taking with him 4 awards which included the Artist of the Year where he defeated Bebe Cool and Sheebah Karungi, East African Artist, Best Male Artist and the Best Video Award-Soraye.

Sheebah Karungi was awarded with the Female Artist award while Winnie Nwagi was given the Break through Artist of the year award. Bobi Wine was given the all-round entertainment personality. Bebe Cool and Radio & Weasel got no award in this contest while Juliana Kanyomozi, Iryn Namubiru, Jose Chameleone and Irene Ntale were not even nominated
