Who is this guy MC Funzo?

MC Funzo is a HipHop Emcee who begun recording music in the year 2004 when he was in his second year of College. Back then he was in a crew called "Nakizzi Skwod" which only recorded one song titled "Ni Nakizzi" before going separate ways to handle individual music careers. In early 2006, Funzo recorded his debut single titled, "Nadunga Hema" and followed it up with "Inapenya". This was the begining of his quest to work on a solo ablum but later in 2006 he met Odd Proffet (OP) from Tanzania and together they worked on a classic HipHop album titled "Nyimbo Toka Chimbo"; produced by Starr Records and released in late 2008. The album incorporated E.Vee.A on the hooks of "Usidoze", "True Story", "This is Love" and the album title "Nyimbo Toka Chimbo". Other rappers featured in the album were Kimya, The Logiq and The Magistrates (Denno & Alleh).

After recording the album, the emcees went on to work on solo projects and Funzo did many collabos including "Fly High" featuring K-Plan and DanDan of the crew 125. In 2014, MC Funzo begun writing and recording music for his debut MixTape titled "Mafunzo Ya MC FUnzo" with the title song recorded on a beat by "The Passion HiFi". This song was released in early 2015. Unfortunately unavoidable reasons kept him out of the studio until late March 2016 when he resumed recording, with the banging track titled "Napenda HipHop". This was recorded at BlezitUp Records in Mombasa alongside another song done on the "Bedrock Riddim Instrumental" titled "Msee Mpoa" which is yet to be released.

Funzo released "Napenda HipHop" in May 2016 on mdundo.com quickly following the hit with a laid back conscious track titled "Usikate Tamaa" recorded at MS Records in Eldoret. The Emcee intends to wind up the remaining songs for the mixtape and release it by August 2016. With another collabo already in the making with MC Spook of MS Records, you can only expect more dope HipHop music from MC Funzo.
