In my opinion Yvonne Darcq is one of the most underrated artists out there who doesn’t get as much media attention as deserves and when she does it’s not always about how talented she is as an artist.
With hit songs like ‘Cheki Yule Dame’, ‘Fire’ and my personal favorite ‘Ooh la la Oui Oui’ featuring Victoria Kimani (because you know that song just makes us fellas go Oui Oui).
And for her latest she teams up with the amazing Side B producer Ulopa Ngoma for ‘Duka’ which by the sound of it, I can tell you quite authoritatively that you will be hearing it a lot in the clubs of Nairobi and loving every bit of it.
As for the video, directed by Enos Olik it is very colorful and one of a kind. Guaranteed you’ll be watching it more than once.
All in all for the song it is easy to say that, the powerful voice of Yvonne Darcq, the inspiring beats of Ulopa Ngoma and the amazing visuals made by Enos Olik, this makes the perfect dream team.
