SILVA BLINGZ KENYA

Silva Blingz Kenya is a sound artist, session artist as well as a singer and song writer based in Busia county and coastal province of Kenya. He was born Francis Odakah Barasa on 7th December 1993 to Dr. Joseph Barasa Odaka and Mrs. Eveline Panyako and raised by Mrs. Josephine Makio. Silva is currently a student in Pwani University pursuing a degree course in Marine sciences.
Silva had a dream of doing big in music but due to financial constrains his dream were first shuttered and was forced to work part-time as a teacher in a curtain secondary school to earn some cash and support his musical career. He was in love with swahili and since he was then not well offed in the language,he was forced to attend some of the swahili lectures and seminars. He loved bongo music and taarab as well as bongo and Kenyan hip-hop music. This improved Silva's zeal of doing swahili music to exploit what he has been learning.
Silva Blingz Kenya embarked on his musical journey in the year 2015 when he recorded his first song termed Wanitesa Moyo (a cover song to Hawakufai by Totti) produced by Moffat of SPY Records in Busia county-Matayos. He loved what he was doing but he craved of writing and recording his own song since he was a poet and a song writer. He did his second recording on 23rd August 2015 termed as Love me for real , produced by Danise MDK in MDK CLASSIC RECORDS. Silva's rhymes and lyrics for the song impressed the producer and some of the artists including RADD KIM (an upcomming artist). He then sold the song to the producer at a considerable amount of money before uploading it to the internet who then re-recorded the song and termed it Bodosa.
On 10th April 2016, Silva recorded his first hit song termed USIPAGAWE BY SILVA BLINGZ KENYA, a song that contributed to his fame. The song was full of love fictions and lyrically graduated love rhymes that swayed the minds and the hearts of most of its fans. This was even before he uploaded it in Kenyas bust music industry platform MDUNDO.COM.
The rise of silva was then based on the radio and media, and his struggles to let the radio ,market his fame and music carrer beared some fruits. The parents never liked himdoing music while he was a student but he tried his level best not to let them know he is the SILVA BLINGZ KENYA everyone was talking about. When he started getting some shows and promotions thats when the parents knew about him and supprisingly they suddenly loved the way he took and supported him fully.
