Growing up what was your childhood dream?

I always dreamt of being a Pilot. I even did Aviation in high school at Juja Preparatory and Senior School and had already started PPL (Private Piloting License) but you know life has its way of twisting things. I was an A’s student though.

What inspired you to venture into business?

My dad inspired me to get into business. Whenever we closed school there was nothing like chilling or just bumming in the house, we all went to work to assist our parents. My father used to ran a garage and spares shop so at times I used to put on an overall and repair stuff. Such instances made me learn how businesses work.

Why the specific business that you’re running?

I have always wanted to make things look good and help guys present their ideas in a perfect manner yet simple. Creativity has been part of me since high school days. That’s why I din’t feel comfortable in piloting and had to drop it for design.

What can you say has been one of the greatest achievements you have had so far through your business?
Being appointed as an agency to re-brand Daima Milk and Yoghourt by Sameer Agriculture. Also handling Sony Ericsson Xperia Kenya and Tanzania merchandising materials.

What have been some of the challenges you have faced?

Investment capital. It hasn't been easy to finance most of the ventures.

As a musician who is into business, how do you balance the two?

That is a really tricky affair because sometimes I’m caught up in business meetings and can’t go to the studio but I always manage to get time. It’s just a matter of knowing what to do and when. Sometimes I stay overnight during my studio sessions.

Did you study business?

Honestly it’s a God given thing. I never studied for it and so is music. It’s the talent that keeps growing and getting better daily.
