The 656 Dynasty
17 October 2026
The streets are talking, and a new era of independent African music is officially here!
Wisdom Amadi Ukpe—widely known by his stage names Amadi Wise and Mr Music X—is stepping out in full force to declare a fresh chapter for The 656 Dynasty. Fans who remember his early freestyle hits on Mdundo like "Mummy Oyoyo", "Call My Name", "School No B Scam", "And Now", and "Iam that Iam" know he has always brought the energy. But now, the 19-year-old (2007) Akwa Ibom-born powerhouse is leveling up.
Known to his family as "Mr Music X" for his ability to effortlessly glide across gospel, love songs, blues, reggae, and inspirational anthems, and dubbed "Chorus Man" by fellow freestylers for always having a killer hook ready, Amadi is taking complete independent control of his sound. Leaving behind external beats, he is now self-producing and writing his own original material.
His upcoming releases—including the ritualistic Afro-fusion anthems "The 656 Decree" and "Fire and Water"—blend heavy ancestral talking drums, congas, and smooth Pidgin tenor vocals into something entirely fresh.
The 656 Dynasty is taking over. Stay tuned and keep streaming as Amadi Wise carries his Akwa Ibom roots straight to the global stage!
