youth armies music is an independent record label and hip-hop collective based in kumasi, ghana, founded in 2021 and led by oldest young (daniel oppong). born from the streets of kumasi in 2021, youth armies represents the next wave of ghanaian rap - raw, authentic, and unapologetically street.
with a mission to push kumasi street rap and afro drill beyond local borders, the label operates as both a creative house and a movement for young voices. since 2021, under oldest young's leadership, youth armies has built a growing catalog including breakout releases '3mmer3 dane' (2024), 'memp3 dede',
'makoma', and 'nobody'. each record documents life, struggle, and ambition from the ashanti region, blending heavy 808s, twi flows, and melodic rap. youth armies music is more than a label — it's an army of youth carving their own lane in ghana's evolving hip-hop scene.
