Here are new releases from Kenyan artists this week : 

I Don't Mind - Bahati 

I Don't Mind is a love song showing his affection to the significant other. He expresses vulnerability with the line " Ni nani alichukua nafasi Yangu niambie …" The chorus " akiwa number 1 , niwe number 2,  I don't mind ." Bahati says as long as he's in the love equation he doesn't mind. 

The artwork to the song shows Bahati seated sniffing a red rose while donning a black suit. The graphics to the title are in red and a rose gliding through the words . 

Bahati uses the popular slang "kugongewa na siyo mayai " in the lyrics . He also states of a warning he was given by the Deputy President , Riggy G.  The song features actor Ogana Brian and fashion designer Bolo Bespoke . 

I Don't Mind is produced by Giddy Vibes and Directed by K Thomas 

Fashion - Chimano 

Songwriter Willis Chimano is back with new single Fashion ,

"Shoes are my guilty pleasure,  " Chimano outlines his love for fashion. The video gives colourful visualization with top color grade . Chimano's stylish outfits cannot be ignored in the video. 

The 3 minutes 3 seconds song gives an electrical beat with a soulful rhythm. Fashion is written by Bien Aime and co-written by Chimano. 

Aki Sioni Remix - Njerae 

Njerae releases the remix for her debut track Aki Sioni which was first released in 2022. 

The song is from the album 'Unintentional" The Remix is her first project since signing up with Universal Music Group - East Africa. In her own words , The decision to revisit 'Aki Sioni " came from the overwhelming support from her fans. 

Chizi - Steph Kapela ft Ricky Miruka 

Steph Kapela releases new single Chizi featuring  Saxophonist Ricky Miruka. 

The chorus " saa zingine nachizi " Chizi has a feel good vibe showcasing one's persona and going through life . The saxophone stands out as Ricky plays it within the song , 

The rap verse by Ricky with the line   ' Mi ni Kam kwenu na sisemi '. Steph Kapela in the background echoes the verse. 

Chizi is produced by Ricky Miruka. 

Neema - Zion Njeri 

Neema is a new single which talks about  The grace of God and how it has carried her through. 

She describes God as her Shield , Rock and Father . Acknowledging God , she knows that He chose her . The chorus " Neema Yako, imenibeba mie ,Na nguvu zako, zimenitosha mie." Zion challenges those who say God doesn't exist by stating to show them He exists.
