Bensoul Releases Second Album ‘The After Party’

Celebrated Kenyan artist Bensoul has released a new album dubbed ‘The After Party’.

He launched it in Nairobi on Sunday, an event that was attended by big shots in Kenya’s music industry among them Bien, and Fena Gitu who has collaborated with Bensoul in ‘Keki’.

This song is part of the album’s tracklist. ‘The After Party’ is Bensoul’s second album after his debut album ‘Lion of Suddah’ which he released in 2023.

He featured Wanavokali, Lavosti, Xeniah Manasseh, Okello Max, Mordecai Dex, Savara, Fancy Fingers and Bien among other artists in his first album with 15 songs.

Bensoul's delivers ‘The After Party’ with admirable precision and a distinctive style. He combined Caribbean elements and soulful vocals shaping the emotional outlook of the song coloured by a rich harmony.

His powerful, emotive voice perfectly captures the emotional intensity of his music and featured artists such as Fena Gitu bring the much-needed dynamism to the album.

The songs in this album have memorable hooks with an influence of Caribbean music which carry a deep energizing vibe.

Afro-pop, R&B tunes colour this whole album and featured artists add to its musical success.  Bensoul capitalized on a major grove with upbeat tracks and soul-speaking songs.
