Otile Brown has released the official music video for ‘Balling’ off his recent ‘Grace’ album.
Known for his touch of opulence, the self-styled Kenyan R&B artist went all out with the visuals for this song.
He features an extremely beautiful vixen with a top-of-the-range sports car in caption and what looks like the most beautiful city in the world.
Otile captures raw emotions with his journey to the top and how fame and money has changed perspective in those who did not believe in him.
Nothing made sense when he was struggling and he was often ignored. But with his rise, those who dismissed him and toyed with his feelings now feel entitled to his success yet they were never there during his struggle to the top.
“Reminising them times I was down but nobody ever gave me nothing I was left for dead I had to re up I had to stack my braid up I to pray for my blessings J bless me now the entitle to money that I made when I was going through some things you were nowhere to be seen yeah all I needed was a shoulder…” he sings.
‘Balling’ is one of the 15 songs off “Grace’ album which he recently disclosed that he felt disappointed with its reception.
Otile Brown had a lot of hopes with this album but the outcome was disappointing.
"My expectations were high but I also prepared too, coz a lot is going on in the industry right now. There are a lot of distractions. Sio kama two or three years ago when I dropped my first album. It was about the music and the artist. Right now kuna ma bloggers, vloggers, kuna TikTok starts kama wote," he explained.
