Upcoming Tanzanian gospel singer Obby Alfa has released a new single ‘Pigana na Mungu’ featuring star-rated Kenyan gospel star Guardian Angel.
Alfa has an apt message to believers about fighting their earthly battles and instead let God fight for them.
He subliminally brings out a powerful message in a beautiful production with an overall aura of the spirit.
“Siwezi pigana na we, nanyosha mikono juu basi shindana na mungu, siweze na bishana nawe, nanyosha mikono mjuu basi shindana na mungue,” he sings in the opening verse.
Alfa prophesies that when the enemy wishes your downfall, God will always be in the vicinity and turn curses by enemies into blessings and success.
‘Pigana na Mungu’ captures the image of a spiritual battle for every deep-rooted Christian in modern-day.
Alfa amplifies the gospel by reminding the faithful that a perfect life is not one without enemies and evil forces. But one with all the afflictions of life and knowing that a human being’s biggest role is having unwavering faith in God.
The new single is a call to renewal of faith and believing in the power of God to deliver one from the toughest of situations.
“Hapatakuwa mtu ye yote atakayeweza kusimama mbele yako siku zote za maisha yako kama nilivyokuwa pamoja na Musa, ndivyo nitakavyokuwa pamoja na wewe sitakupungukia wala sitakuacha,” he says.
Guardian Angel delivers a superb performance in ‘Pigana na Mungu’. His infectious vocals blend in well with Alfa’s delivery.
The Kenyan gospel artist sings with a renowned conviction and characteristic vocal signature.
And just like his Tanzanian counterpart, Guardian Angel reiterates the theme of the new song on spiritual warfare for enemies.
