Ugandan singer Lydia Jazmine has opened up on why she did not use Spice Diana’s studio for rehearsals of King Saha concert.

Her decision to keep off Diana’s property sparked rumuors that of a fallout between them.

But, Jazmine says she was not comfortable being at the studio even with the concert in mind.

She told Truth Media in an interview that there is no bad blood between her and Diana as many thought after her failure to use the latter’s studio for King Saha Concert rehearsal.

The ‘Njagala’ singer wondered why she was the subject yet many other artists did not turn up at Diana’s studio for rehearsal but still performed as expected at the event.

“There are various places where we do rehearsals. We are many who didn't go there. It wasn't a must for all of us to go... I wasn't comfortable,” she said.

The specifics of what transpired between the two songstresses remain unclear, but tensions heightened when Jazmine missed the launch of Spice Diana's EP, "Star Gal," in 2022.

However, when Diana held her inaugural concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala in January 2023, Jazmine was in attendance, suggesting things were not as bad as fans thought.

Despite choosing to rehearse elsewhere, Diana and Jazmine put up an electrifying performance at the concert held on December 8, 2022 at Hotel Africana in Kampala.

Meanwhile, Jazmine, also known as the Drum hitmaker, is gearing up for her maiden concert on March 1 in Kampala.

She says that she has a lot to offer her fans this year and living up to the expectations East Africans have for her.

Her March concert is in tandem with an array of musical extravaganzas, with Davido, Rema Namakula, Fik Fameica, and former Blu3 band members (Lilian Mbabazi, Cindy Sanyu & Jackie Chandiru) set to perform in various concerts.

The latest addition to the concert lineup is Davido's Kampala concert dubbed "Timeless," scheduled for March 29, with the venue yet to be announced.

Cindy Sanyu, Jackie Chandiru, and Lilian Mbabazi have also disclosed plans for a joint concert on Women's Day, March 8, 2024, at the Kampala Serena Hotel.
